We are seeking for a full-time Business Development and Impact Creation Specialist to join MetaMind Innovations P.C. MetaMind Innovations P.C is the first spin-off company of the University of Western Macedonia playing a pivotal role in the region of Western Macedonia and in northern Greece. As a Business Development and Impact Creation Specialist, you will join either the Research & Development department in Kozani, Greece or the Business Development department in Thessaloniki, Greece. You are responsible for driving business development, exploitation, commercialisation, and impact creation of EU-funded project results. You will transform research outcomes into scalable business models and market opportunities, while designing frameworks for social, environmental, and economic impact measurement. You will design and support techno-economic evaluations, regulatory analysis, and policy design. You will support the communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies to maximize project visibility and adoption, while contributing to technical and financial EU reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop exploitation, commercialisation, and impact strategies for project results.
- Transform research outcomes into scalable business models and market opportunities.
- Design frameworks for measuring and reporting social, environmental, and economic impact.
- Create business models and market and digital strategies.
- Plan, support and report techno-economic evaluations.
- Perform regulation analysis, while designing policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies to maximize visibility and adoption of project results.
- Assist the definition of the technical and non-technical requirements and specifications, while ensuring technical and financial/resource feasibility.
- Prepare and contribute to technical and financial EU-based reporting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting, financial or other related fields.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English language.
- 2 year of experience in EU-funded R&D/R&I projects.
- Ability to discuss, negotiate and work in international environment.
- Team collaboration and excellent planning skills.
- Experience in delivering technical and financial reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, economics or related technical fields.
- Project management professional certification.
