MetaMind Innovations (MINDS) is proud to announce its participation in the Kick-off Meeting of the AICONFORM project, held on 16 June 2026 in Athens, Greece. The meeting was hosted by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance and marked the official start of the project, bringing together the 14 consortium partners to discuss the project’s objectives, technical work and next steps.
During the meeting, partners presented their organisations and roles in AICONFORM and discussed the work planned for the coming months. Discussions covered the project’s AI/NLP compliance framework, data governance and privacy, pilot preparation, interoperability, dissemination and exploitation, as well as project management and coordination. The consortium also discussed the three real-world pilot areas of AICONFORM: public administration, manufacturing and energy.

AICONFORM is a 24-month project funded under the Digital Europe Programme. It aims to make regulatory compliance easier and more efficient for public and private organisations by developing an AI-driven framework that can turn regulatory requirements into machine-readable and executable compliance checks. The project will address key European regulations, including the AI Act, NIS2 and eIDAS 2.0, while supporting secure data governance, privacy and trustworthy digital services.
The AICONFORM framework will be tested in three real operational environments covering public administration, manufacturing and energy. Through these pilots, the project will explore how regulatory requirements can be translated into practical compliance processes, from automated reporting and monitoring to conformity documentation and regulatory updates.
Represented by our colleague Christos Vasilakis, MINDS presented its profile and role within the AICONFORM project. As leader of Task 2.1 – Regulatory Requirement Extraction under WP2, MINDS will contribute to the development of the AI/NLP compliance framework by working on methods for extracting regulatory requirements from legal and regulatory documents and transforming them into machine-readable obligations. This work will provide an important basis for the project’s knowledge graph, policy rules and compliance services.

MINDS will also contribute to the project’s data governance, privacy and interoperability activities under WP4, supporting the connection between the technical framework and the three AICONFORM pilots in public administration, manufacturing and energy. Its initial activities will include identifying the first regulatory sources and legal documents, supporting the annotation and validation approach, and contributing to the technical requirements for integration with other AICONFORM components.
We look forward to working with the AICONFORM consortium and contributing to the development of practical tools that can make regulatory compliance more accessible, efficient and trustworthy across Europe.
